Altos was one of the floating islands of Pangaria, deep within the tempest Zephyrus in the Ocean of Tempests.[1]

Kept aloft by technomancy, it was one of the five larger outer islands of Pangaria, and was known as the water island because of its working community that specialised in farming cloudkin.[1]
