The Arctolyce was a dangerous creature, native to the more remote parts of north-eastern Khul, which resembled a cross between a wolf and a bear.

Description

It was equally mobile on two legs or four, and arctolyce fur was highly prized.

It was not at all certain that this beast belongs to the bear family, or indeed whether it was, in fact, a natural creature.
