Balthazar Sturm is the ultimate, evil opponent of the Hero of Tannatown and is a mad Weather Mage. He is also the builder and owner of the Eye of the Storm, a flying ship (with a very steampunk-style description) from which he can control the elements.[1]
Description[]
When the Hero of Tannatown fought him in single combat, Balthazar Sturm has 10 in skill and 10 in stamina.[2]
He could transform himself into a human torch[3], a colossus[4], a deluge[5] and a maelstrom.[6]
He kept a tower in the hills near the border of Femphrey and Lendleland.[7]
History[]
Balthazar Sturm was a former member of the Colleges of Magic in Chalannabrad, studying under the elementalist Nimbus Cloudchaser, before being expelled for performing reckless experiments.[8]
Later, Sturm approached the inventor Inigo Crank, claiming to be a benefactor willing to fund his work, but in reality he wished only to steal Inigo's devices and plans for himself, eventually imprisoning the inventor in Balthazar's tower.
