The Bilgewater is a river in Allansia, infamous for being foul-smelling and full of dirt.

It is a tributary of the Spider River (itself a tributary of the Deedlewater), and its source is underground beneath the village of Coven. It emerges in Knot Oak Wood in a northerly direction and then merges with the Spider River. Recently the necromancer Zharradan Marr constructed his dungeons around the underground part of the river - whether this was the cause of its noticeable filth and overpowering stench is not known.
