Black Khopesh

The Black Khopesh is one of both magic weapons forged by Ulrakaah.

The former priestess of Throff forged the Black Khopesh using Black Steel obtained from the Dark Elves of Tìranduil Kelthas. After Ulrakaah was banished behind the Gates of Death, both khopesh were hidden in the Icefinger Mountains.

The adventurer Hikaz Mandeera found the Black Khopesh in the Icefinger Mountains. As he was heading to the Plain of Bronze to stop the Demon Plague, he had his blade stolen by Sinna the Sly, near the Broken Goddess Fort, in the Trolltooth Pass. Sinna himself fell in front of the Gates of Death, the khopesh at his side.

Used in combat, both Ulrakaah's Khopesh allow to add 1 to the Attack Strength (2 against demons), and cause 2 stamina of damage (3 against demons). They are the only weapons able to defeat the Mother of Demons.

Trivia

A Khopesh is a type of weapon from Ancient Egypt, whose blade is sickle-shaped. Like the Ancient Greek Kopis and the Ancient Iberic Falcata with which he shares similar origins, it is meant to be wielded like a sabre, but hit with the strength of an axe.
