Brendan III (also know as Brendan the III or Brendan the Great) was a King of Arion.[1][2]
Description[]
Brendan was a descendent of his famous namesake, Brendan Bloodaxe.
History[]
Brendan III, came to the throne in 99 AC, after his parents, the King and Queen of Arion, were killed by an assassin hired by the nephew of the Baron Den Snau. The authorities captured, tried, and executed the assassin and his Den Snau master. After taking the crown, Brendan III enacted policies of building roads, public buildings and universities, and brought great prosperity to Arion. After his death, Arionites called Brendan "Brendan the Great".[1]
A biography of Brendan III, Brendan the Great, was written by the Khulian historian Rebecca den Thaas.[2]
