Buruna is a port in western Khul and one of the cities of the Council of Seven. It sits at the mouth of the Catsblood River.[1]
Description[]
In Buruna, "pleasure-hating factions hold power", and during the New Year the city's highly religious citizens spend five days in solid prayer, stopping only on the evening of the fifth day for some much appreciated feasting and celebration.[2]
History[]
In 199 AC, Lowa Ashfell, King of Buruna, was born on 30th Days Lengthen (29th Warming).[3]
Food and Drink[]
The Buruna Catsblood Ale is a popular drink that originates in the city. Thought by most to be brewed from the water of the Catsblood River, and dyed red for effect. It is actually made by taking two dozen cats, and slowly.... Anyone who drinks the Buruna Catsblood Ale will not be attacked by cats of any size for one day.[4][5]
