A Calacorm was a race of sentient reptilian creatures that looked rather like a two-headed Lizard Man.

Description[]

They had grey, scaly skin and a long tail.[1][2][3]

Both heads of a calacorm acted independently of one another.

Whilst simple-minded, placid creatures, they did delight in torturing other beings, but strangely had a crippling fear of mice. They appeared to live on a diet consisting only of dead snakes.[4]

Most calacorms worshipped the god Suthis Cha.

Origins and Distribution[]

Since Calacorms were found in the cooler climate of the Craggen Heights, it was possible that they were not cold-blooded like the lizard people, who could only live in hot temperate climates such as deserts and jungles. [5]

History[]

The black sorcerer Balthus Dire had several calacorms in his service within the Black Tower, including the jailer or gaoler Snikrul, the monster keeper Hook-Hand, and one who served as a gatekeeper.

Another calacorm worked as a sentry for The Oracle. Any visitors had to present a seal to it, or it would attack.
