Calah was a bustling, grotty seaport and was said to be second only to Tak for its seediness and criminal activity.
Description[]
It was especially famous for gambling and most of the gambling pits could be found in the Wharfside District. The Dicing-Dens were especially notorious.[1]
Further Notes[]
- At some point in its past, Calah was attacked by the outland barbarian Kurgoth, a follower of the god Death. Kurgoth slaughtered dozens of people in Calah with his axe.[2]
- Like a number of others names from the lands of the Inland Sea, Calah is based on a name from ancient Mesopotamia - in this case the city Calah.
