Canunie was a town or city in the middle of the plains of southern Lendleland in the Old World.[1]

Near Canunie lay countryside, with swift-running deer inhabiting it. The mages of Lendleland would craft the magical Sandals of the Cheetah's Pace to make the Canunie hunters run incredibly fast and bring down these deer.
According to one source, Dintainta of the Baklands wore a pair of these magical sandals.[2]
