Cares-Town was a settlement which was founded at the mouth of the Catfish River in north-west Allansia by Cares Stormchild in 1408 OT.
History[]
It became a thriving walled town, ruled by descendants of Cares Stormchild until 1574 OT when its heirless ruler, King Cares Whitewolf, was poisoned following a split in the ruling council.
After that, Cares-Town was ruled by stewards until 1601 OT, when the Dynasty of Swords was established with the ascension of King Coros Sword-bearer to the throne, and Carse-Town was renamed Carsepolis (q.v.), since it had grown in size and power into a city.[1]
