A Clawbeast was a large, hairy, mutant creature with four arms each ending in vicious claws.[1]
Description[]
Clawbeasts were by nature brutish violent brutes that lived solitary lives, often decimating local ecologies with their voracious appetites before moving on.
Their fur was thick, and mix of brown, grey and green.
History[]
At some point, the warlord Balthus Dire hunted a clawbeast down and mounted its head in a room in the Black Tower. He also possessed the abilty to summon one.[2]
Likewise, Dire's rival and former colleague Zharradan Marr kept one in his dungeons beneath Coven.[3] Another one dwelt in caves near the Trolltooth Pass. [4] A Clawbeast also materialised in the city of Arion when it was under a curse placed by the God Logaan.[5]
