The Common Tongue or Common Speech is a language in common, mutual usage throughout a Kingdom or region. In Allansia the Common Speech is the name give to the spoken and written language of most Humans.
Description[]
The Common Tongue is one of the most widespread Languages of Titan. [1] Nearly all Humans in Allansia will be able to speak the Common Speech, and so will any Elves, Dwarves, Halflings and other peoples who regularly interact with humans.[1][2] The Common Tongue is spoken in Khul, with a few slightly different terms and idioms. An Allansian who speaks the Allansian Common Tongue and a Khulian who speaks the Khulian Common Tongue can hold a conversation and understand most of the words the other speaker is using.[3] The Common Tongue is also spoken in the Old World. [4]
