The Craven Asylum for the chronically insane is a squat, grey stone block, its blank face broken here and there by few barred windows. It is the most popular of Blackhaven's tourist attractions: decadent folks actually pay to enter the city's most wretched hellhole! There are in fact many rumours of dark deeds, one of them being that sane folks (such as Matra Ouspenskaya) can get locked in it for ransom.[1]
