Crypt Stalkers were beings often animated from a favoured servant of a tomb's inhabitant, sacrificed to serve their master in death as in life.[1]
Description[]
They would protect the tomb and its contents forever from thieves and other intruders. They resembled a zombie with rotting skin and dank hair, and could only be damaged by enchanted or blessed weapons. Holy water blessed by a High Priest would act like acid if thrown over them.
These creatures used their bare hands and unearthly strength as weapons, attempting to strangle intruders to death.
