Cumulus was one of the floating islands of Pangaria, deep within the tempest Zephyrus in the Ocean of Tempests.[1]

Kept aloft by technomancy, it was one of the five larger outer islands of Pangaria, and had a working community that specialised in trade.[1][2]
In order to transport goods, the island had mules, which were kept fed with haystacks.[3]
