Death Hawk was a species of black-feathered hawk used as messenger birds.[1][2]
Description[]
They were believed in ancient times to have been the messengers of the gods themselves. Death hawks were not considered to be especially bright.[2]
They had reddish eyes and a wingspan of about a metre.[2]
