Deep Sea Dowland, also known as the "King of String", is a rather tubby old merchant who had his store in Kaad, in Pudding Street.
Description[]
He is known by Yaztromo and had a son called Deep Sea Junior.[1][2]
He is renowned for the range of his merchandise and clientèle both, and he even deals in minor magical items when he gets them. He and his son were two of the survivors of the plague, sent by Sargon the Elimite, that swept the city and killed many before being stopped by Gereth Yaztromo.
