Demonspawn were Demons; the lowest and possibly most numerous form.[1]

Description[]

They lacked eyes, possessing only dark indentations in their faces from which to sense.

Demonspawn could appear in an infinite variety of form and colour and size, though all were slimy and reeked of brimstone. They could only be harmed by magical weapons.

They were short lived, rarely living more than a few years before collapsing and dissolving into piles of slime.

Origins and Distribution[]

They were formed from the stuff of the Demonic Plane and are summoned by evil sorcerers. It was said that the Demonspawn were the mass ranks of the Legions of Hell given life by unclaimed souls, living to fight in the myriad wars that constantly embroiled The Pit.
