A Devlin was a type of dwarf-sized fire elemental.
Description[]
Devlins were related to other elementals, such as fire elementals or fire sprites.
Devlins were unable to be harmed by weapons, magical or otherwise, though they could harm foes with their flames. The only sure way to defeat a devlin was to douse it with large quantities of liquid, which would force the devlin back to its home plane.
One possibly lived in the kitchen of Balthus Dire's Citadel, under the service of the Sisters of Sheena.
Origins and Distribution[]
They were native to the Magical Plane of Fire, but could be summoned by warlocks and other spellcasters, using methods such as a special dust which could temporarily conjure them from a fire.
