A Dracon was a species of solitary creature that was a hybrid of a lion and a gold dragon.

Description[]

They possessed strong large leonine bodies, with golden manes and a pair of small wings that sprouted from their backs.

A dracon could be exceedingly vain and proud of its ancestry, while wishing any visitors of theirs showed the appropriate politeness and courtesy in any conversation. Fail to maintain proper conduct whilst speaking to a dracon and it would not end well.

In battle, a dracon fought with its claws and fangs, all the while often insulting the attacker background. If near defeat, they would attempt to flee, or offer choice items from a treasure hoard in exchange for their life, though they would sometimes take the opportunity to rid themselves of some cursed item in their possession.

Origins and Distribution[]

Dracons were created from the union of the lion god Rogaar and the gold dragon Chrysolla.

Special Abilities[]

Dracons were capable of flight, but lacked any breath weapon.
