Enthymesis the Enchanter was a wizard whose footsteps the player is following through the second half of Slaves of the Abyss (book).
Description[]
He lived near a small village in the Kallamehr region with his apprentice Mema.
History[]
He later embarked on a quest to find the sage Alethia and entered the Abyss after a divination warned him about an impending invasion by Bythos.
He ultimately failed to defeat the Maijem-Nosoth that guarded the entrance of the Abyss, and left the task of confronting Bythos to the player.[1]

- Enthymesis is derived from Ancient Greek ἐνθύμεσις meaning "consideration, esteem". In Slaves of the Abyss (book) there are various Ancient Greek names and this is just one.
