The Far Trader was a merchant ship led by Captain Marlin on behalf of Silas Whitebait, a wealthy merchant of Port Blacksand.[1] The Far Trader was specifically designed to be able to withstand the rigors of intercontinental sea travel. This ship reached as far as Arion. [2]
