Fighter Cards were a super category of BattleCards that could be used to fight other BattleCards.

The Fighter Cards were a super set whereby the complete deck could be divided into cards that could fight each other and cards that could not. The Fighter Cards were the cards that had the scratch off symbols on the illustrated side, enabling them to do battle.

Non-Fighter Card Groupings

All cards were Fighter Cards except the following groupings:

• Artists of Vangoria (BattleCard Type)
• The Quests of Vangoria (BattleCard Type)
• Magic Spells (BattleCard Type)
• Advanced Combat Cards (BattleCard Type)
• Treasure Cards (BattleCard Type)
• Checklist (BattleCard Type)
• Shield Cards (UK only)

All of the Ungrouped BattleCards were also not Fighter Cards.

That leaves the following groupings that were all Fighter Cards:

• The Darklands (BattleCard Type)
• Barbarian Territories (BattleCard Type)
• Zittonia (BattleCard Type)
• Quaine (BattleCard Type)
• Constantia (BattleCard Type)
