FF Gamebox2

The cover of the Fighting Fantasy Gamebox 2

The Fighting Fantasy Gamebox 2 was one of the early examples of the Fighting Fantasy Boxsets launched as Christmas promotions.

Despite being titled "Fighting Fantasy Gamebox 2", it was probably the third official Fighting Fantasy Boxset after the Fighting Fantasy Gamebox and Fighting Fantasy Gamebox 1.

Release[]

From the contents of the gamebox we can surmise that it was brought out at the end of 1984, with the three main series gamebooks that it contains being the Coloured Number Format covers and Fighting Fantasy - The Introductory Role-Playing Game having its original cover, and most importantly all being published in 1984.[1]

Price[]

One set has all constituent books having the cost of £1.50 each with the exception of Fighting Fantasy - The Introductory Role-Playing Game at £1.75.[1] As to the price of the whole boxset this was dependent on a price sticker with one report being £6.25, another at £4.20 "inc. Box".
