A Fog Devil was a type of being that appeared as ghostly billowing concentrations of vapour formed into vaguely human shapes.[1][2]
Description[]
They attacked with their three-fingered claws and their fanged maws.[2]
Fog devils often preyed upon gnomes or woodlings, howling as they rushed about. Despite this they would only nibble upon the bodies of those that they killed, before moving on[2]
Origins and Distribution[]
They could potentially be found in any forest and had been found in the woods of Allansia[3] and Lupravia[4], but were thankfully rare, only appearing when the thickest winter fogs were in the air. For the rest of the time they hibernated in burrows or the hollows of trees.[2]
