The Forest of Yore is ancient, sacred woodland; and once part of the One Forest.[1]
Description[]
It was situated in the Vale of Willow near to the city of Salamonis,[2] which was almost as old, having been founded before the War of the Wizards.[3]
Inhabitants[]
The Forest of Yore was home to a large half-elf population (called the "Yorefolk").[4][3]
In 1712 OT the wizard Erridansis Whitewolf settled in the Forest and established the famous Magic School of Yore.[3] The school is currently administered by the wizard Vermithrax Moonchaser, who has trained such notable individuals as Gereth Yaztromo, Arakor Nicodemus and Pen Ty Kora.[3]
