Forrin was a town in northern Gallantaria.[1]
Description[]
Forrin sat on the coast of the Onyx Sea, between the deltas of the River Greenbeck and the Whitewater River (Gallantaria).[1] Windswept Moor lay to the east of Forrin.[1]
There was a military barracks in Forrin, where a regiment of foot soldiers were based.[2]
History[]
Forrin was the town where King Constain set out on his ill-fated journey to the Northlands.[2] Forrin was badly damaged during the War of the Four Kingdoms.[2] After the war, much of the town was rebuilt.
Notable Residents[]
- Forrin was the home of the famous hero Hornhelm.[2] Hornhelm's widow dwelt in the the town after the war, and guarded a clue to the location of Hornhelm's treasure, which she waited to give to a worthy adventurer.[3]
