The Freezeblood Mountains are the most northern mountain range in all Titan, stretching from the east coast of Allansia to the Forest of Night, then transforming into rolling hills for many leagues, until rising up again as the Icefinger Mountains beyond Zengis. [1] The Freezeblood Mountains are the highest peaks in Allansia.[2][3] The Freezeblood Mountains lie south of the desolate Ice Wastes.[3] The Freezeblood Mountains are inhabited by dangerous creatures, such as the Yeti, the Toa-Suo, and the Coldclaw.[4] The Freezeblood Mountains are rich in forests, game and gold seams. This means Northman and Dwarf lumberjacks, hunters and miners live in this harsh region, since "the rewards are great for those who can survive".[3] The central peaks of the Freezeblood Mountains have a settlement of Dark Elves dwelling under the mountains.[5] At the easternmost point of the Freezeblood Mountains is the hollowed-out mountain city of the Dwarfs, Fangthane the Sacred.[3]
The Freezeblood Mountains are called the Kalakûr, or "Wall of the Gods" by the Dwarves.[3]
The Mountains are incredibly inhospitable, offering little in the way of protection to the land of Frostholm from the freezing winds of the Frozen Plateau, and even less in the way of sustenance.[3]
History[]
The famous Dwarf explorer Hangahar Goldseeker lived in the Freezeblood Mountains.[6]
