The Frozen Wastes are a frozen region in the northeast of Amarillia.[1][2][3]
This region was covered by permafrost for as long than anyone can remember.[4]
Frost Giants were magically held there until the Demonwar. [5]
Despite their hostile climate, and the dangers that populate them, explorers led expeditions to these dangerous lands. It was during one of these expeditions that the Crystal Key was discovered in an alcove dug into a mysterious ice monolith.[6]
