Gandor Dire was the father of Craggen Dire and grandfather of Balthus Dire.[1]
Description[]
Gandor was described as a stern bearded man dressed in wizardly robes.[2]
History[]
Gandor was driven out of his native town of Warpstone, for practicing forbidden magic.[3] Gandor, his wife and their young son Craggen then travelled across the Craggen Heights. He and his family found shelter near Craggen Rock, and he decided to build a fortress there.[3] Gandor slowly amassed an army of followers, and then began construction of the infamous Black Tower.[3]
Gandor became increasingly tolerant and sympathetic towards the forces of Chaos, and he allowed Orcs, Rhino-Men and other beings to live in the Black Tower and work for him.[3] Upon his death, Craggen inherited the Black Tower.[3]
His body was interred a crypt below the Black Tower, in a stone sarcophagus with his visage carved upon it.[2]

Is this Craggen Dire? or Gandor Dire? It is likely Craggen, as Gandor is described in AFF adaption as being a stern bearded man.
