Giant Eagles were a speces of enormous eagle, known for dwelling in desolate and isolated areas.[1]

Description[]

They had a wingspan of eight metres.

Their first attack will be a powerful dive at their prey. If it hit twice, it would hoist its victim aloft and fly back with them to its mountain-top nest, as food for its young.[2]

They were sometimes kept as pets for hunting and security by mountain giants.[3]
