Giant Eels were a species of eel, that could grow up to eight metres long and thirty centimetres thick.[1]
Description[]
They were quite capable of killing crocodiles or other large predators.[1]
If attacked in water over a metre deep a victim had to kill the monstrous eel quite quickly, or they would be entangled in its crushing coils and drowned.[1]
