Origins and Distribution
Green Dragons are lithe forest-dwellers, living in the depths of the forests and jungles of Titan. Only Young Green Dragons will be met with any degree of regularity (relative to the general rarity of Dragons), as Adults will tend to hide in the very heart of the largest forests and jungles, their hoards carefully stashed in forgotten ruins or caves swallowed up by the trees.
They are among the most typical of the Dragons, being neither friendly towards other races nor especially aggressive, enjoying little more than being the most voracious predator in the region, and driving out or killing any who might threaten their homes with almost fanatical dedication.
The typical Green Dragon will grow to about 25 metres in length, and their scales are a brilliant green. They tend to have a semi-ruff of up to four spines on either side of their head, each spine joined to the one next to it by folds of skin. They also have up to four parallel rows of spines down their back, merging into one shortly before their tail and then stopping entirely about halfway down.
As with all Dragons, their wingspan is easily that of their full length, and their tongue is not forked - although it is far more pointed than other kinds - which is a common misconception. However, their eyes are still dangerous to look into without permission, as they can easily hypnotise a man or crush his spirit.
A Green Dragon has fire for its breath, using it every three turns and burning their enemy should they fail a Test for Skill. The fire breath of an Adult Dragon will scorch away 4 stamina points, but the breath of a Young Dragon will only cause 2 stamina damage.
