A Gumar Hunter is a member of a primitive human tribe, a tribe which lives in Chiang Mai in north-west Allansia.[1]
According to one source, Baron Sukumvit Charavask was furious that an adventurer had beaten his infamous Deathrap Dungeon. The Baron hired a Gumar Hunter, (mounted on a Crocosaurus with whom the hunter had a telepathic link) to assassinate the adventurer, retrieve Sukumvit's treasure, and "stifle the news of his humiliating defeat".[1] However, the Gumar Hunter failed in his mission.[1]

- Given the obvious connection between the name "Jaiphrai Ah'cha" and Jeffrey Archer, it is tempting to see a connection between "Gumar" and John Gummer, another Conservative MP in the United Kingdom, and a contemporary of Archer's.
