At the times of The Magehunter, Hazah is considered a kind of supernatural power or being of great power, possibly a demigod or god. The Efreet, for example, are described as "servants of Hazah".[1] His name is invoked in prayers and blessings in Kallamehr.
Khasim the Unworthy, for example, salutes The Magehunter saying: "I wish you the luck of Hazah".[2]
Al-Fakik the storyteller, for example, in his stories considers a man who trusts in Hazah, a virtuous man, and calls Caliph Carolina as Hazah 's sacred ruler.[3] Al-Fakik also says to the Magehunter "May Hazah bless your way."[4]
