The Hero of Eye of the Dragon was a seasoned adventurer recently down on his or her luck, who arrived in Fang a month before the annual Trial of Champions, hoping to make some money. After two days, the hero met a man calling himself Henry Delacor who related the tale of a solid gold dragon statue worth hundreds of thousands of gold pieces located in a labyrinth beneath Darkwood Forest.[1] The hero eventually recovered the statue with the aid of Littlebig.[2]
It is possible for the hero to have taken part in other books, either before or afterwards. However, the adventure seems to take place some time after most of the other books set in Allansia as at the end of the book it is revealed that Yaztromo is the Grand Wizard of Yore, which was not mentioned in any of his previous appearances.
