Although it is theoretically possible for the hero to have taken part in other books, his or her position as ruler of a city is difficult to reconcile with the facts known of the other protagonists featuring in the main series.
It is possible that this hero may have been King Brendan IV of Arion, or Brendan's son King Jonthane.[2]
