High Xamen is a range of mountains in Kakhabad. The mountains are located north of the hills of Low Xamen, and lie within the Zanzunu Peaks, they also over look the Avanti Wood.[1][2][3]
The region is infamous as the location of the Mampang Fortress, headquarters of the tyrannical Archmage of Mampang.[2] Prior to the coming of the Archmage, the region was uninhabited. However, the Archmage brought numerous Orcs, Goblins and Trolls with him to serve his evil ways.[2] Several years ago, the Archmage battled and killed a Hydra in the High Xamen region. He then resurrected the Hydra's heads as the infamous The Seven Serpents.[2]
