The appearance of a Highwayman is a source of constant trouble on the roads of Titan.[1] Highwaymen are masked criminals, usually mounted on horses, who rob coaches and wagons travelling on the roads.[2][3] They will also attack travellers on foot if they cannot find other targets.
Description[]
A Highwayman will carry a missile weapon (a short bow, a crossbow or a flintlock pistol) and also a short sword for melee combat.[2][3][4] Highwaymen are active in Allansia[4][5][6] and the Old World.[2][3]
Origins and Distribution[]
Highwaymen are a persistent problem for the authorities in Gallantaria, with numerous highwaymen active on the road between Royal Lendle and Weirtown. [2] If caught and found guilty, Gallantarian Highwaymen can expect rough justice; the corpse of a Highwayman was displayed in a gibbet outside Crowford. [7]
