A Jai-Hulud Sorcerer-Assassin was one of several Brician hired killers who worked for Karam Gruul. [1]
Description[]
Jai-Hulud were humans who wore voluminous robes and fought with a pair of longswords. Each Jai-Hulud possessed "incredible acrobatic prowess enhanced by his magical ability."[1] They usually carried a magical item, such as a Trephen Jewel that could heal injuries.[1]
Origins and Distribution[]
Jai-Hulud were scattered throughout the city of Blackhaven. They sought out and slew anyone Gruul regarded as a threat.[1]
It is quite likely Jai-Hulud Sorcerer-Assassins fought in the War of the Four Kingdoms, presumably locating and attempting to kill the enemies of Brice. It is not known if the Jai-Hulud disappeared after Gruul's defeat, or if they are still active in the Old World. [2]
Special Abilities[]
During combat, a Jai-Hulud used extraordinary muscle synergies to fight at an extraordinary speed. Unless the Jai-Hulud's opponent also had the Acrobatics Special Skill, the Jai-Hulud was able to roll three dice for his Attack Strength and use the two highest scoring dice to calculate the Attack Strength.[1]
