L'Œuf Géant de Sombrelune (English lit.: The Giant Egg of Darkmoon) is an Advanced Fighting Fantasy adventure written by Pierre Maury and illustrated by Duncan Smith. It was published in French in 2022 in Périls dans les contrées de Titan
Background[]
“ While halting in the village of Darkmoon nestled at the foothills of the Northern Mountains, the Heroes are given the delicate assignment by the village chief to fetch the hermit Meneor who lives in an isolated tower in the forest, and escort him back to the village. The recent discovery of a gigantic egg of an unknown species requires the insight of the solitary scholar, so that the chief can take a decision concerning this unusual object. An abnormal adventure begins, for the egg belongs to a Giant Eagle whose lair is located on the peaks of the mountains overlooking the village, and is sought by a tribe of Lizardmen. As for Meneor, he has been captured by a horde of Goblins who intend to punish him because his tower is built above the underground tunnels they use as a hideout... ”
