The Lionfish was a ferocious aquatic predator known to strongly resemble a lion.
Description[]
A lionfish could grow to be very large, typically being around five metres in length, though some prey could use this to their advantage by squeezing into some crevice that the lionfish could not pursue them into.
They were golden in colour, with an array of fins resembling a lions mane swathing their head. They would often roar to reveal a mouth filled with sharp teeth before attacking, biting with their fangs and scratching with their clawed fins.
They were believed to be of the same family as the scorpion fish.
Origins and Distribution[]
Lionfish were known to dwell within such tropical oceans as the Kakhabad Sea or the Western Ocean, where they would usually dwell within great swathes of kelp or seaweed.
