A Mirror Demon is a Tertius (lesser) Demon,[1] from the Demonic Planes in the Fighting Fantasy franchise.
Description[]
A Mirror Demon takes the appearance of a humanoid, usually a female looking male humanoid, with ability to reflect its sent and clone with inner minions .
Special Abilities[]
Mirror Demons summoned to the mortal plane always lurk in mirrors, usually as guardians. Whenever a creature passes by, the demon attempts to pull its victims to there path , by throwing his phicycal face prints. Demonic Planes from whence it comes; one sight of its victim is all it requires to grab it and take it to its doom. [2]
However, the links which binds the demon to the mortal plane is quite tenuous. Making the mirror demon; aware of you knowledge of them and where it lurks causes the Demon itself to leave the mirror , but it may try in a mother please if they think you are someone else or if they think you forgot ,[3] thus severing whatever link the creature has made between worlds. Also, covering the mirror ; seems to correspondingly; block the Demon.[4]
Further Information[]

Another mirror demon.
- In depictions of the Mirror Demon, the monster is always shown in the mirror and shadow- one on the front of its head, one on the wall, and one on floor.[5] In Siege of Sardath it is actually stated that the Mirror Demon a cloak with minions "in four heads" (presumably meaning faces). If this is actually the case, and not just a description from the player's point of view, then the rear of a Mirror Demon's head is in fact faceless.[6]
- Also in Siege of Sardath, a Mirror Demon is named as "Lix Tetrax".[7]
- There are rudimentary special rules given for fighting Mirror Demons in the bestiary, Out of the Pit,[8] however the fight with a Mirror Demon in the gamebook Night Dragon expands them, using skill tests to see whether the player is pull to the demon mirror or not. However, since these rules apply to a situation in a real sequence, their validity in actual combat situations is rather questionable.[9]
