Nanoc was a Barbarian Strongarm.[1]
History[]
He met the Hero as they were arriving in Salamonis to begin an adventuring career, while Nanoc himself was just returning from a five-year-long quest. He was looking forward to being reunited with his wife Tabatha and their son, Benboy.
Familial bliss was not to be his, however, as the Hero can meet him not long afterward and learn the couple had a falling out, seemingly over Nanoc's adventuring lifestyle taking him away from home for such long periods of time. Velenore Musek had hired him to find several other effective caravan guards for a journey through Trolltooth Pass.
He appeared again later to help the Hero travel to Stittle Woad and battle the Screamer Queen, and was recognized as one of the saviors of Salamonis for his part.

- His name spelled backwards is "Conan", no doubt meant as an homage to the iconic barbarian hero created by Robert E. Howard.
