A Nycterin was a giant bat, with a wingspan of about ten metres.[1]
Origins and Distribution[]
A Nycterin often serves as a steed for an evil wizard; the necromancer Arakel used a Nycterin to rob Yaztromo's Tower, while the Lich-Lord Mortis of the Arrowhead Archipelago kept a Nycterin on his keep, in case he needed to escape.[1][2][3]
