Odyssée pour un Jib-Jib (English lit.: An Odyssey for a Jib-Jib) is a single-player role-playing mini adventure written by tholdur, and illustrated by Koa. It was published in 2016 in Créatures de Titan, the French translation of Out of the Pit by Scriptarium.
Creation[]
Odyssée pour un Jib-Jib was one of both winning entries of a writing contest organized by Scriptarium where the winners will see their adventures published in the translation of Out of the Pit. [1]
Background[]
You are an ordinary merchant, except that you are richer than most. While you are negotiating the purchase of a Jib-Jib on behalf of your master, you are knocked out and sent to Kakhabad to capture one yourself.
Rules[]
The mini adventure in general follows the original rules set down in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain (see Game System)
Unique Rules[]
- The initial stats for skill and stamina are fixed respectively to 5 and 9 because the character is only a simple merchant and not a seasoned adventurer.
- luck are not used, as the Test for Luck rule.
- Specific combat rules are used for some encounters.
