The Plain of Bones is a area of "grass-covered scrubland" in Southern Allansia. [1]
Description[]
The Plain is bounded by the Swamplands of Silur Cha to the west and the Bay of Storms to the east; to the south lie the Mountains of Grief.[1][2] The Plain is inhabited by numerous dinosaurs; the skeletons of these dinosaurs gives the region its name. [1]
Various human tribesmen, such as the Boneridge clan[3] lived in the region and hunted the dinosaurs.[1] Sabre-toothed tigers also dwelt upon the Plain of Bones; one such beast was responsible for the death of the explorer Tadeus Lecarte when he travelled to the area.[4]
The Plain was once home to the mighty Celenesia Empire (also known as the Celenasian Empire). [5]
This powerful state existed prior to the War of the Wizards and was destroyed by the cataclysmic destruction of warpgates that the empire had developed to explore other worlds surrounding Titan's sun.[5][6]
