Pre-generated Player Characters are a feature of various Fighting Fantasy publications, including the Wizard Series 2 editions of the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.

It can be noted how the pre-generated heroes of Deathtrap Dungeon are exactly the same of Trial of Champions and Armies of Death, officially connecting the three adventures and clarifying that in canon the hero of Trial of Champions is the same of the hero of Deathtrap Dungeon.
Some other adventures set in the same world and time, as detailed below, share the same pre-generated characters as well, but not all three of them, highlighting a possible, but not stringent continuity between them. So Ophelia Lapwing is a pre-generated character both in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and in The Forest of Doom, but she is the only one appearing on both these titles. Helios Wardalus appears both in City of Thieves and The Forest of Doom. Gorrin Silverblade appears both in Stormslayer and The Forest of Doom. All three pre-generated characters of The Forest of Doom are therefore shared with other adventures, but each of them with a different one.
Extract Character[]
The Wizard Series 2 edition of Deathtrap Dungeon has a 10 paragraph sample extract from Stormslayer. This sample includes an unnamed pre-generated character, with skill 10, stamina 19 and luck 7, plus either a Sabretooth Fang or a Sun Medallion.[1] While all the Wizard Series 2 books have similar sample extracts, none of the others have a pre-generated character, even those that also have fights or tests.
Advanced Fighting Fantasy (First Edition) Characters[]
The Advanced Fighting Fantasy book Dungeoneer, contained six pre-generated characters for use in play:
