Pyra-Caltor is an evil Human Archmage, who once ruled an empire in the region of Irritaria that later become Khul. Pyra-Caltor lived about two and a half thousand years before the reigns of the Arion monarchs Jonthane and Elegana.[1] He was named "Pyra-Caltor, the God-King" by his servants. [1] Pyra-Caltor gained great power by his practice of evil magic, and by communing with various Demon Princes and Evil Gods. Pyra-Caltor also had a considerable knowledge of "Primal Magic", a system of magic used in Atlantis.[2] As a result of these occult practices, Pyra-Caltor grew to a height of ten feet (three meters). [1] In the period of instability that wracked Titan following the ascension of King Faramos XXIII on Atlantis, Pyra-Caltor foresaw a disaster ahead using divination magic. One summer morning, Pyra-Caltor had his followers place him in suspended animation and sealed in a tomb. A few hours after Pyra-Caltor had been safely entombed, his empire was destroyed in the Splitting of Irritaria.[1]
There are legends that Pyra-Caltor still sleeps in his tomb in north-eastern Khul, waiting for someone unlucky or foolish enough to wake him....[1]
